Executive Producer
Film & Photography Society at UCLA
May 2022-June 2023

The Film and Photography Society at UCLA (FPS) is the premiere film production organization. It functions as a student production company, providing professional on set experience to hundreds of Bruins a year. While UCLA does have a formal academic film program, it is highly exclusive. The School of Theater, Film, and Television only takes a couple dozen people a year and does not allow any other UCLA student access their state of the art equipment or soundstages. Thus, FPS is the only real place for students who are not film majors to gain professional filmmaking experience at UCLA.

Video Contractor, Self-Employed
2017 - Present

In my hometown of Napa, California, I've made a name for myself within parts of the small business community by doing paid video and editing work.

I've filmed, edited, and assisted organizations in creating promotional videos for small businesses and organizations in the area. I've produced videos for everyone from food companies to photography studios. I've also had experience negotiating my own pay and succeeded in working both independently and with teams of professionals. While I've mainly worked with small businesses, I've also worked under larger events and groups such as Bottlerock. Even though my true passion lies within narrative story-telling, the business, interpersonal, and technical skills I've picked up from my independent work have been extremely beneficial.

Notable clients include: Napa High School, Boys & Girls Club of the Napa Valley, Bottlerock 2019, Rancho Gordo, Congregation Beth Shalom, The Table Food for the Homeless, Art & Clarity, Chevron, Everytown USA, Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, Workforce Alliance of the North Bay, and Coppola Winery.

Executive Producer, Attention: Napa
2018 - 2019

In my senior year of high school, I was hand selected by the Napa County Office of Education to lead "Attention: Napa", a high school student production company focused on addressing social and cultural issues. We worked throughout the year to make locally relevant content. I was heavily involved and personally led the company in securing a $50,000 grant from the Workforce Alliance of the North Bay to create a series of videos on housing, employment, and the local economy. I even had the honor of inviting and hosting Francis Ford Coppola to talk to my company members about film and his experience making it in the industry. Our first video project was done in the spirit of the upcoming election, "Vote Veto". We created a short PSA to encourage young people to get out and vote for what they believe in. Being selected for this amazing opportunity was and is something I'm very proud, ecstatic, and passionate about. While I have gone one to college now and won't be a part of Attention Napa anymore, the memories made and lessons learned are something I'll cherish for a long, long time!

Creative Producer, Napa Lighted Arts Festival
2018 - 2019

During my senior year at New Technology High School, I was selected by my teacher, Lisa Gottfried, to lead my class and work with the city in creating a projected lights show for the upcoming local festival. We were given a building and our class was split up into many teams, each creating a short to be compiled into a final compilation. My short was titled "Pet Wars" and was a spoof of Star Wars using 2D animation of cats and dogs. I not only coordinated the entire class in ensuring the completion of our lights show but also ran my own team. Within my team, I created most of the character assets and animated Pet Wars. As creative producer of the whole show, I communicated between third-parties, managed several in-class teams, and personally edited the final cut to ensure a quality show. My work was instrumental in securing our project’s recognition as a top HundrED 2020 innovation. This, like so many wonderful opportunities I've been fortunate enough to have had, was a blast. I had so much fun that despite the incredible responsibility, I was always motivated and enthusiastic to complete this project. Bellow is an upload of our lights show that was projected in January 2019.

Internship & Advertising, Rancho Gordo
2017 - 2018

In my senior year, I had the opportunity to intern at Rancho Gordo, a multi-million dollar food corporation supplying heirloom beans to restaurants and individuals nation-wide.

There, I was given the chance to work in all departments from finance to production. I eventually settled in marketing, spearheading the production of videos and promotions for Rancho Gordo in Napa, California. For each video my boss, Steve Sando, would give me an event to attend. From there, I would personally plan, film, edit, and complete videos from start to finish—with the exception of adding titles. It was an incredible experience and I have even done paid work for Rancho Gordo since. A great company with quality staff and beans, my internship there was valuable and memorable!
